Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers, Inc. recently received a grant from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Carl Yngve and Lucille Adamson Fund to purchase an Antique Style Popcorn Maker Machine. The machine will be used by participants at the Taft and Present Center programs located in Jamestown. In addition, it will be used at agency and public events to raise money for the “Scholarship Fund” and help promote the program and services provided to caregivers and older adults in need of Adult Day Services.  The “Scholarship Fund” assists low income older adults and families who cannot afford the full cost of the program.

Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers, Inc. offers senior day programs for adults sixty years of age and older who live in community.     The day programs enable seniors to have quality of life through socialization and activity programming.  The sites provide breakfast, snack and a hot noon time meal for participants.  There is also a Community Recreation Program that helps persons participate in outings in the community and the sites offer pet therapy, ceramics, music programs, arts and crafts and much more on an ongoing basis.   The Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers, Inc. is a not for profit United Way Community Partner, that provides an affordable option for older adults in the community to remain independent and at home.   Funding is available.
