Chautauqua Region Community Foundation

Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers, Inc. Is pleased to announce they have received a grant from Carl Yngve & Lucille Adamson Fund & Edwina N Holmquist Memorial fund which is administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. The grant is for the purchase of adaptive furniture at its Taft and Present Center locations in Jamestown.

Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers, Inc. offers senior day programs for adults sixty years of age and older who live in the community. The day programs enable seniors to have an increased quality of life through socialization and activity programming.  The senior day program provides breakfast, snack, and a hot noon time meal for participants.  There is also a Community Recreation Program that helps persons participate in outings in the community.  Also, the sites offer pet therapy, ceramics, music programs, arts and crafts, and much more on an ongoing basis.   In addition, the agency also has a “Saturday Program” in Jamestown which helps participants stay involved in community events and out-door recreation.

The Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers, Inc. is a not for profit United Way community partner, that provides an affordable option for older adults in the community to remain independent and at home.

Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers have four sites throughout Chautauqua County located in Westfield, Jamestown, and Dunkirk.
