Chautauqua Adult Day Care Offers Pet Therapy
March 2014 – Chautauqua Adult Day Care at the Present Center, continues to offer a variety of programs for its participants. One such program is Pet Therapy. We have been very fortunate to have some local community members visit our site, and bring their pets to visit with us. These have included, Rabbits, Goats, Turtles, and even baby chicks, to name a few.
Recently, one such visit took place, as good friends of Chautauqua Adult Day Care, Keith and Glenda Nelson, brought in their dog, a Vizsla breed named Gizsi Bea, to spend time with our participants.
Dogs have been well known to give unconditional love, and such is the case with this little sweetheart of a dog . The Nelson’s have brought their Vizsla to Chautauqua Adult Day Care a number of different times for a visit.
The participants enjoy this high energy dog, and she truly loves all of their attention.
